Full Spectrum, 2022

Full Spectrum (2022) was exhibited as a part of LUMINEX, award winning large scale outdoor public art exhibition in Downtown Los Angeles. The audio-visual projection mapping piece invites viewers to step into the hidden worlds beyond the rainbow. Bees and birds can see ultraviolet light on flowers and the James Webb Telescope lets us see the beginning of the universe in infrared light. Light and sound, both forms of energy, play a dominant role in creating the color and tone of the “world” in our minds. Our sensory systems are limited in the range of frequency we can perceive, and our brains generate what we call our “reality”. This artwork inspires viewers to “see” the hidden world all around us.
